CUC Order Dates

From design to ordering, our job is to help you suit up in amazing looking and performing uniforms - on time. We've put together this guide to help teams across Canada have a stress-free experience.  

We realize that every order is different and your order might be a mix of different customization options and timelines, so please always reach out to discuss your specific needs with a member of the VC team.

Ordering Deadline Stages

First, let's break down the 3 key deadline aspects: Design, Order Confirmation and Rush Deadline.

Design: A design deadline means that all aspects that you are ordering have been created and/or reviewed by the VC team, and are 100% approved by you on behalf of your team. This includes tank or long sleeve versions of your jerseys, or a technical art review of creative art that you are supplying from your own designer.

Design Request Form

Teams should keep in mind that creative design requests can take anywhere from 3-4 days for something super simple, to 3-4 weeks for really complicated projects (or if you have a lot of cooks - or teammates - in the kitchen!). The design aspect of any project must happen before orders timeline start.

Order Confirmation: This means that your order is ready to go in our systems and will be produced, as-is, with no changes or additions. All sizes, numbers and names have been submitted to VC on our order form, or through a closed and verified Team Store.

How to Order

Team Stores & Individual Player Ordering

Rush Deadline: This is the last day we can accept your order and commit to having it to you by your in-hand deadline. Please note that we always insist on at least one buffer day in shipping for rush orders because unforeseen shipping delays can ruin a best laid plan.

Orders with Mixed Customization Aspects: If you are placing an order with different customization aspects, such as spot sublimated, our default is to hold the aspects that are done earlier so your full order ships together. We can arrange to send your order in multiple shipments (i.e. ship each order aspect as it is ready), if that works better for your ordering timeline and schedule. Additional shipping fees may apply.

Shipping Timelines are Included: The following timelines include 1 week for shipping. Rush shipping options may be available if required to meet your deadlines; please speak to your VC Rep about options.

Timeline Killers

Let our team of VC customer apparel experts help you avoid the following timeline killers. We can explain the process in full detail, share resource links that can be forwarded to your teammates, or help you think through a deadline challenge - we've seen them all! Let's talk!

• Last-minute design changes - Including forgetting to request long sleeve, tank or Revolution hoodie versions of your design(s).
• Waiting for stragglers - Don't let a player or two hold up everyone else! If a player won't confirm their order, give them a call - perhaps there's a way to help them make a decision, or maybe they just need a hand covering the cost for a few days and a teammate can help.

• If your team or program orders VC apparel in custom colours that will require screen printing, please allow 6 weeks for manufacturing and printing.
