Elon's Wild Rumpus on a Wild Ride

Once you choose VC as your gear provider, you join a family. And like any family, we love to hear about the successes and events of those in our community. 

Like Elon's women's ultimate team: Wild Rumpus. These motivated and inspirational women are throwing a tournament soon and we wanted to take the time to catch up and hear about their team and this awesome event! Thank you Pearl Sullivan for taking the time to answer. 

What's new with your team for 2018-2019? What are you excited about?
We are a young team and we have a lot of new members with varying levels of experience. I am really excited to see how the team grows and how we continue to bond as a group!

What are you most excited about for the tournament? Can you tell us about it?
This tournament is the first tournament Wild Rumpus has hosted in four years, and we are so excited to get the campus community to come watch and welcome teams that we love playing against to Elon. Rumpus Riot will be a 9-team tournament with teams that Wild Rumpus plays very often. Each team coming is fantastic–both athletically and spirit-wise. We can't wait to see how the tournament turns out!

Tell us some fun stuff!
Personally, I think Wild Rumpus is special because we are so close-knit as a team because every member values the relationships we build naturally. Whether it's team dinners, movie nights, mixed tournaments with the guys' team, Big Fat Bomb, or even just having lunch in the dining hall, every player on Rumpus gives their heart and soul to this team because they want to and because they know that we'll always have their back.
