Without Limits: Fall Tournaments & College Women's Resources Manual
This resource manual is THE resource manual you should be reading.
Without Limits Ultimate, one of our partners, has been working hard during the college off-season to ensure there are ample opportunities to play ultimate this fall!
If you aren't familiar with Without Limits, their goal is to "to foster relationships within the women’s ultimate community at the youth, college, and club levels, as well as promote and further the growth and development of the women’s division." Through tournaments, manuals and clinics, they are continuously giving back to the community and are striving to be #OnlyTheBest.
Below is a message by Kyra from Without Limits about opportunities coming up!
Wow, can you BELIEVE we are back to the college season again? Fall is in the air and it's about that time to take your college rookies to their first tournament. At Without Limits, we have been busy organizing our fall tournaments, and we have a new project in the works!
Our Fall Tournaments: Fusion and Blue Ridge Finale
We're kicking off 2018-2019 with Fusion at the Smith River Sports Complex in Martinsville, VA. In its 9th year, Fusion will be the opening tournament for 20 college women's teams. Our Saturday afternoon clinics, a Fusion staple, will be taught by club players from Backhanded and Phoenix, along with local coaches. Michelle Ng, the founder of Without Limits, will be on-site at Fusion and will be highlighting our VC Without Limits Collection. College rookies might even purchase their first disc or jersey from Michelle!
In addition to Fusion, we are hosting Blue Ridge Finale on November 3-4. This tournament is slated to be one of the most competitive college women's tournaments on the East Coast this fall. Registration is still open!
College Women's Resources Manual
These days, Without Limits has been collaborating with Chip Chang to bring the College Women's Resources Manual Second Edition — a collection of essays and articles on hand-picked ultimate topics.
First published in Spring 2010, the original College Women's Ultimate Resources Manual was Michelle's passion project, inspired by the many amazing leaders in our community and a desire to capture some of their knowledge in a how-to guide for new and/or aspiring leaders. The second edition will bring new perspectives and topics that reflect the evolution of our sport over the past eight years. Many of our new contributors were themselves players and captains who leaned on the first edition throughout their college ultimate experience.

The first wave of drafts has been an incredible read. Though the manual is geared toward the college women's division, players at any part of their ultimate career and in any division would enjoy and benefit from reading this collection.
We have exciting projects in the works and can't wait for the season to finally begin. We hope to see you at our events soon!
